Passionate about the Hérens breed, Virginie Jean has devoted several years to exploring the bond between humans and animals in the mountain farming world.
Her first self-published book, Regards de Reines, is a heartfelt tribute to this native breed. Created in collaboration with the knowledgeable photographer Alicia Coudray, the book brings together their two artistic perspectives.
Their project highlights our agricultural and cultural heritage for a wide audience and serves as a lasting memory for future generations.
Virginie Jean invites you to a commented tour of this photographic exhibition, where she will share her favourite moments and the many inspiring encounters behind the work.
If this journey moves you, you can continue the experience through the book Regards de Reines, where images and testimonies tell in greater depth the story of those who live in harmony with the rhythm of the Hérens breed.
